I could have entitled this post "What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas" but isn't that getting a little old and over used?
My mom- and dad-in-law (Cris & Terry) took me, Alex, Brandon (BIL) & Sharon (SIL) on a nice Vegas getaway last weekend. I want to thank them right now for such a great trip, Al and I loved it of course!
So here's what happened in Vegas.
The Hofbrauhaus has become Alex's favorite place to visit when we go to Vegas. It's a German restaurant with German beer, food, entertainment and atmosphere.
It's one huge room filled with picnic tables and they seat you together with other german beer lovin folk. It gets extremely loud in there when the band comes out and they come around to each table to force someone to chug their beer.
Now do you see the size of those beers? Yeah, people usually don't make it out of this place on their own. This time we had go there a little early so that we could make the 'O' show later that night so we missed all the contests (and spankings).
This was Terry's hotdog lookin thingy. I thought it looked disgusting (I hate brats & beer!) But apparently he was happy with it!
Okay, so the last time we came here was a year ago when Alex got spanked! If you missed it, you've got to go here to my sister's blog to see a video of the Jager girl spankin Alex. It's hilarious! Although he didn't think so at the time.
So after the dinner we all helped carry Terry and Alex outta there to go to the 'O' show.
I kid, I kid.
The Cirque du Soleil 'O' show was amazazing! They didn't allow cameras so these are the only pictures I was able to get before the mean camera police woman yelled at me.
The show was full of crazy awesomeness! I kept hearing Al sitting next to me saying "Wow!" It was friggin unbelievable! I think when I'm done playing Elphaba in Wicked, I'm going to try out for the 'O' show. I could totally be one of those flexible rubber band lookin chicks.
They also had Richard MacDonald artwork on display, I LOVED IT. I mean, just look at these beautiful statues!
Ok, so those girls are really Cris and Sharon, not statues but still beautiful. Here's a real statue.
And they're pretty cheap too, this little miniature one that I wanted was only $27,000. Yeah, I know, I was pretty excited too!
I was just about to buy it when I remembered that I had just purchased my new helicopter the other day and should probably save some cash to pay for the fuel. Which is why I decided to feature one of his statues in my "Wanting" section, just in case my husband is wondering what to get me for my birthday.
After the show we went back to our hotel, we were staying at The Venetian, and did a little gambling. Little did we know that we would definitely need our sleep that night for the little adventure we would have to take the next day.
Courtesy of Alex.
But I'm not complaining, my feet on the other hand are still screaming at me, and of course we don't blame Alex, it was his sunglasses' fault.
Not Alex's fault at all...

I saw O years ago, and it was incredible!
And The Venetian, huh? I feel sorry for you. I mean, it was no Fremont Hotel, I'm sure.
Where is that German bar at? Next time we go, I want to go there!
We were in Vegas last summer and I got yelled at by the camera police as well at a show at the Excalibur!
Teh last time we were in Vegas we stayed at the Venetian. The casino there was nice and they had affordable tables where we won at least a couple fo times.
That german bar sounds cool. Where is it?
The one and only time I've been to Vegas, we stayed at the Venetian and saw O. Good times. I don't recall any spanking though.
Oh I'd love to go back to Vegas, but I don't think a nursing baby is quite the right vibe to bring to Vegas, so I suppose I'll have to wait. ;-) Looks like a great time.
Yeah, those sunglasses look shady! HAHAHAHA!!! I crack my self up!!!
That book is why I now love the Wicked Witch of the West. Elphaba rocks!
Vegas sounds fun! Never been. Jon doesn't want to go...ever.
Those are some big beers!
I've heard that O is really good! Last Cirque show we went to in Vegas (Zumanity) was really lame, so it put us off Cirque for awhile. I think I am ready to forgive them though...or at least give them another chance.
I want a mug that big for my Diet Coke!!!!
And why cant you do both shows - Wicked afternoon matinees & O at night...
If I didnt just buy a yacht & my own private island, I'd totally buy that statue for you ;)
Was the beer warm too?
I am with you on the brats, eww. My hubby loves them and eats 3 huge ones at once.
I was thinking of Cleveland for our next fabulous family vacay, but you may have changed my mind.
The O show looks fantastic - and I'd love to get some pics of another woman spanking my husband. He's a good boy, he deserves it.
I am totally jealous.....i want a big mug of beer!! ;)
Looks like a blast! And I know how $27,000 is just pocket change for you so you should've totally bought that statue. Just sayin'.
I LOVE Vegas! It looks like you had a great time. We will have to try out The Hofbrauhaus next time we go. Justin would love that place!
O I wanna see O so bad!
I've always wanted to go to Hofhoweverit'sspelled House.
We drove past it a couple weeks ago, so at least now I know where it is.
And I've never seen "O". I've seen EVERY Cirque show except that one. But I'm going soon.
It's funny. Whenever a blog I read goes to Vegas, I know exactly what they're talking about.
Looks like y'all had a blast. I would LOVE to see the O Show. And that statue is cool...
Looks like a great time. Also looks like your tastes run alot like mine...ka-CHINGville.
I saw Mystere years ago and LOVED it!
Gee, for $27,000 I thought the statue would have been made of gold.
Nothing better than German food and beer! It's the wurst food ever!
I love brats! But not beer. I've never liked beer.
I've always wanted to go to Vegas. Maybe one day..
Ok, I'm just gonna say that you are about 10 shades of adorable in the picture up there. Too cute you are!
I love me some Vegas!! And that German place looks pretty accurate to what we have here! The beers, but not the spankings.....
So glad to hear you had a good time, minus the feet hurting!
I bet that show was amazing!
And I CANNOT believe that statue is 27 thou!
The last time I went to Vegas they were still working on the Venetian, I bet it's gorgeous!
Ooh, I can't wait to hear what your next adventure is going to be!!!
I'd love to see a Cirque show. Everyone I know that's seen one has said how incredible they are.
Justine :o )
Poob, can you ever forgive me? You crowned me a queen on your blog days ago and I am only now leaving a comment. Ugh. I promise that I will be a better cyber buddy going forward. As a sign of my love and commitment, I am wondering if you might want to join us in a little game later this summer? I can send you details if you're interested.
Looks like you had a fantastic time in Vegas. Next time, be sure to include me in your plans! :)

You left me home.....AGAIN!!!
And what's up with not LOVING all things German??? Dude! Seriously!!! Maybe you just need to get one of those cutie patootie German girl getups to getcha in the right frame of mind. Yeah, that's it!!
I've seen that show...well a version of it in Vegas...and it is amazing...although a little weird at times. I'm glad you guys are having so much fun! Of course with that much beer consumption I guess fun is a given.
I freakin LOVE anything Cirque puts on!!! I'm so obsessed, that I have DVD's and I actaully teared up when I went to O because I was so amazed.
I know.
So uh, what's the story on this adventure you DIDN'T tell us about? You know I always love anything I can use against Al...

Vegas was a blast with you guys!! My feet look so ugly from all the walkng not sure how they got so beat up! I agree it was the sunglasses fault! hehe!
