Metal Mouth Horse Face

I'm still digi-scrappin.

No, Tara, I promise I really am!

It's been a while since I've shared any of my pages with you so I thought I'd make your day a little brighter and post some purely for your enjoyment.

Now you can finally get a good night sleep tonight. Your significant other can thank me tomorrow. With Flowers.

And Chocolates.

This first one is from that weekend last year when Logan taught me a few things about photographay. I love the picture of his legs on the right hand side, so cute!

This second one is of my niece last Easter. I can't believe it's already been a year since then, I will have to get some more pictures of her this weekend at our Easter party!

Now you need to prepare yourself for this last one, it is very scary and I don't want you to faint so you better sit down before you look at it.

So, okay, here it is.

The hair.

I know, the hair is big and frizzy and tacky but I didn't do it. This was a drill team picture so some chick right out of beauty school decided that this fro would be perfect for my skinny horse face.

She gave me a mane. I was closer to a horse then I'd ever been in my life. You could have stuck some carrots in front of my face and I would have followed you anywhere.

The braces.

I was a Junior in High School. A Junior in High School with Braces.

I didn't lose my last tooth until I was in 11th grade! The dentist finally had to pull it out because my adult tooth was growing sideways into my gum. I had to get braces to pull that bastard down.

They hooked a chain to that bastard tooth and attached the other end to the wire on my braces, so it would essentially pull the tooth down.

So not only did I have a gaping HOLE in my mouth, which made me feel like I was twelve, but I had geek braces with a freakin chain hanging below my teeth.

It wasn't a pretty sight. Luckily that picture was taken on the "good" side and you can't see the gaping hole and chain.

But you can still see the braces.

God I hated those braces.

I'm cool with the braces. No fault lies there. But the hair was a bitty bit too much, too much, too much.

However, the actual digital layouts in all 3 exhibits are phenomenal!

I actually had braces until I was a senior. YES SENIOR! I had them for four miserable years so I feel your pain. Luckily for my senior pictures, they were able to airbrush them off! Woot! :)

I love the scrap booking that you've done. Very nice!

That is awesome!

I was at my Grandmother's over the weekend, and took a picture of my senior year Glamour Shot. I hope to post it next week.

I didn't get my braces off till I was 20!! Oh yeah you read that right I was 20 and then like a moron I let the army base do it and they had no clue what they were doing.. soooo they just yanked them off, without dissolving the cement that attached them or anything. Guess what I am 40 and all my teeth now need pulled thanks to their handiwork. I love the layouts.. I wish I could do something like that..

Thank you for acknowledging my need for scrapbook updates. I love ya girl! And I love those pages -- SOOOO cute!!! I don't know that Oby will be sending you flowers or chocolates. I'm very sensitive about that kind of thing since I found out about Tiger and Jesse James. Oby knows not to go "there." lol!

It's hysterical that you call your tooth a little bastard. I actually think you look very, VERY pretty. yes, the hair is big, but it was the 90's (or was it the 00's?).... either way, it was Utah, so it captures you AND where you come from! How perfect is that! it's so funny that you hate that your face is skinny. I hate that my face is round.... proof yet again that we're never happy! ;)

My parents wouldn't pay for my braces, so I got them at age 21 when I could fork out the dough myself. SUPER LAME, but worth it. Man, when i look back at how crooked MY little bastards were, geesh!

This is why I go through so much trouble to make sure that my picture is never taken. I've even gone so far as to hire a team of experts to go around deleting pictures if I'm even so much as in the background.

Is it wrong that as soon as I read the line, "And Chocolates" I began to devise a plan to go get chocolates from the store?

I am actually very familiar with that picture. Gma Viv had it up in her house. Displayed on the piano so every one who came to visit would be graced with it's beauty.

Braces horror story: Braces went on senior year and off in my 20's. Back on last year in my late 20's nearly 30. Talk about geeky. Geeky is my life.

And you don't have a horse face.

Um hello! I was right there with you at good ol' NHS!!!

I wouldn't think you'd fit in with the drill team with any other hair Ü

I agree...STOP calling yourself horse face! Your GORGEOUS!! So GORGEOUS that if Cory sent you flowers and chocolates...I hunt you down and punch all your little bastards back where they came from...

Wow! Where did that come from?! I need to stop watching the Bachelor..those girls are wearing on me Ü

If it makes you feel better, I never noticed. Although, they had done the ringlets to me the year before when I was on Dance Company. Love Hazens!!

I can not stop laughing. That hair is just TOO great for words! I remember that all of my friends were cheerleaders and they would make their hair SO high and puffy it wasn't even funny!

You really are rockin' the digital scrapbook, aren't you? And that mane? I sported one once - when my hair dresser thought it would be a good thing. We really could pass as sisters! I got braces when I was 28. Yeah, nothing like looking like a geek and feeling like a 12 year old at that age. I should dig up some pictures to make you feel better, no? ;)

I'm still living in the eighties and nineties-ask my kids. They give me the two thumbs up for big hair and a history with braces:) Your picture is fabulous! Wish I was a blond...

I had braces too. I think it's a rite of passage or something. haha!

I was thinking that was a glamor shot with the hair, at first. Glad you clarified.

LOVE the digi-scrap pages. SO darn cute!
