My Surragate Husband

My Albert has been away in Colorado for his Uncle's funeral the last few days so Dozer has been my proxy husband.

Isn't he handsome?

Dozer is going to be sad when Al gets home because he won't be able to sleep in the bed anymore. Having Dozer in the bed is just like sleeping with Albert, they both hit me in the face with their flailing limbs, steal the covers leaving me to freeze all night, and try to stick their tongues in my ear while I'm sleeping.

The one difference is that Dozer will only try to hump me when I'm standing up.

However I'll be happy to have my real hubster back because, believe it or not, he actually takes up less room than Dozer. Plus he is a tad bit less stinky than Dozer.

Just a little.

Tonight we are off on our annual Labor Day trip to St. George with my mom and sisters. I am stoked because I will be able to visit my BFF who, years ago, abandoned me for the sweet sweet sun of St. George. I guess I don't blame her I'd rather surround myself with the warmth of the sun then the coldness of my heart. Er somethin.

I can't wait to squeeze those kid's cheeks!

So I hope everyone has a great drunk safe Labor Day weekend and I'll be back next week!

And as Logan says,

Peace out.

I love your dog, makes me miss my old rot/mastiff.....I told you about him. I found out he died, cancer. ;-(

On a lighter note, have a great weekend! Be safe.

First of all, your Dozer looks like he's about the sweetest big dog I've ever seen. I miss having a big dog sometimes, until I remember the size of their "presents" ;o)

And that picture of Colorado you posted-that's the Maroon Bells. I live about 30 minutes from those! Is Alex in western Colorado or near Denver?

DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG ITS BEEN SINCE I'VE SEEN YOU?

DO YOU???

Okay, you probably do. And it hasn't been ALL that long. And you most likely don't care as much as me....but still. I see Al more than I see you. ILLEGAL.

Love me.

St. George!! I would love to hear how she likes it. Pseudonymous HS teacher lives in Hawaii. She has made some comments that show the grass is no greener in Ohio than in Hawaii.

Ask your friend how it compares to the states??

Have fun in St. George!

If Dozer only humps you when you're standing up, you're doing something wrong when he's in bed. LOL

Have a great time.

We have no Labor Day plans. I'm going to try out a new recipe and hope I don't burn the house down in the process..

Well, Dozer is a handsome boy, and I have to admit, I wouldn't mind snuggling up to him. But, one little sign of a hump and I'd be outta there! Now Al on the other hand...

Heeheehee

Oh wow, Burlington. That's right on the eastern border by Kansas. I'm on the other end of CO on the western slope about 20 minutes north of Aspen. That's a LONG drive if he drove, poor guy!

Sorry to hear about Albert's uncle.

I do like your sub for him though and the fact that he only tries to hump you while you are standing up is a great bonus!

Have fun in St. George. I am jealous. We are not doing are September trip down there this year and I am bummed. Stupid IRS!!!

The audit is over and let's just say they took a lot of our ill gotten gain. We didn't know. Honest.
