She had just stepped out of the dentist's office and was a little upset. Naturally. I text her back to ask her why she had to get them. Her response?
"Cuz Jesus hates me."
That's right, so all you 12 year old metal mouths out there listen up:

Jesus must hate a lot of people then! He sure hated me!
I had four YEARS worth of Jesus-hate when I was a teen. Oh, and God hated me too cause I also had neck-gear. And I had to wear a big old bionator (torture in the form of a giant retainer) for years previous to the braces - that would be Holy Ghost Hate. I got the whole trifecta.
But I have a gorgeous smile now!
Ha, I had them as an adult and got them off just before I got married. Told Jeff I wouldn't marry him with a mouth full of metal.
What's worse is the Orthodontist wanted to leave them on past the 2 year treatment. I told her is she wanted to fund the remainder of the treatment I would be fine with it. She took them off the next visit.
I never had braces... Jesus LOVES me :)
no metal has touched my mouth...i must be good...or at least He overlooked all those things i did in high school and college. smiles.
Welp...I SHOULD have had braces...haven't yet...wanna someday...screw it, I will get veneers...
I've always had naturally straight teeth, but I hadn't realized until your sister pointed it out that my nice teeth are a direct result of Jesus love. I feel all warm inside.
Q just got his braces off today! 2 yr plan off in 14 months! Tell her to get Sure Smile, it cuts the time in half.

I had to wear braces for SIX YEARS!!! Yes, you read that right... 6!
OH... I nearly forgot to mention the head gear and following years of retainer wearing!
I wonder if I should have been praying more often. Hmm...

Wow, I feel some anger going on. I of course never needed braces.
I lucked out and didn't need braces, but I still thought Jesus hated me since I was the fat kid with coke bottle glasses and stringy hair.... Maybe he does love me... He must have known braces would have sent me over the edge :P
Braces seriously suck!!! I'd get those invisilign ones!
BTW, Did you get my package??? It said out for delivery yesterday and today it's saying "undeliverable". What the heck????
