We Are So Hard Core.

We finally did it. After this and this, the day of the concert finally came!

FALL OUT BOY!

Here are the players left to right:

The Annie (queen of fashion), The Kelsi (my darling neice), The Lindee (lil sis & partner in crime), The Sydney (Baby sis's non-boyfriend's little sister, did ya get that?) & The Alyse (baby sis with the non-boyfriend).

The last concert that I went to at the Saltaire was my boyfriend's, Gerard, and his cute little group My Chemical Romance.

Loved it by the way.

But I was pick pocketed during the concert. And yes, police officer who wrote down my case, I was pick pocketed from my back pocket and I didn't even notice. He was acting like I was crazy, hello? Has he never been to a concert where you get smashed, trampled, groped and grabbed constantly? Ugh.

Anyway, so I was way to scared to take my new camera into the actual concert so I made everyone pose outside the Saltaire before we went in. As promised girls, here they are!

Annie grabbing my ass. I didn't complain.

Thanks Sydney for being our photographer as we attempted to be America's Next Top Models. Much love.

Wow, in the next pic it looks like Alyse is grabbing my crotch. She did not grab my crotch, or maybe she did and I didn't notice because I seem to have a problem with things like that.

Ok, so we did actually get to go inside and see the concert, I tried my best to get pics with my camera phone. The pictures aren't great but I think you get the idea.

The guys first came out in these suits with their hair nice and combed over. Pete looked like he had a black eye. (bottom pic)

Then they left the stage, changed clothes,

and Annie was happy,

and we were too.

And we were also very hard core.

So Annie and I went there thinking that we wanted to hump Pete, the guitar player. (You know, Ashlee Simpson's husband?) But dude, Patrick, the lead singer, has got lungs! He was so amazing live! And I think we fell in love with him instead. Pete did most of the talking, probably because he is the hottest member of the band, but he is so little and short in real life, he kinda looks like a little kid on stage.

So we changed our opinion and now we want to hump Patrick instead.

Yes Angie, I'm talking about humping.

Again.

So we all had a great time and left the concert very sweaty, out of breath, and soar throats. (sorry Annie!) Hence no "after" pics thank you very much.

Oh, and just an FYI, my husband is well aware of my humping dreams about Patrick. He's ok with it.

I think.

It Also Pays To Be A Slut.

Remember the little dilemma I was in a few weeks ago? You know, where I won two tickets to the Fall Out Boy concert but there are four of us going and I couldn't decide who to give the free ticket to?

Well, if you remember I decided to give both of my sisters a free ticket which meant Andrea and I would pay full price for ours.

Should I feel guilty that I made all three girls plead their case for a free ticket from me? Maybe, but I know I should feel guilty for taking pleasure in the fact that I made them all get on their hands and knees and beg. There's just something about people bowing before me that I just can't NOT enjoy!

Yes I am evil, very evil. I'm going to hell, but you already knew that.

Anyway...

So all that begging (mostly between my sisters, Andrea really didn't beg, at least not in public anyway) is now irrelevant. Why? Well I decided that I would let Andrea go to the concert for free too. Doesn't that make up for my previous naughty behavior? Yeah I thought so too, I am just THAT great of a friend ya know?

Okay so I'm lying to you. Not about Andrea going to the concert for free, but that I actually had anything to do with it. My baby sis Alyse friggin won 2 more free tickets! I'm not joking people. So yes, we all get to go to the concert FOR FREE!

Woot!

How did the baby sis accomplish this? By pimping herself out of course. She learns from the best you know. The X96 DJ, Corey Obrien, was giving free tickets to the person who could write him the best haiku about Fall Out Boy tickets. Here is her winning haiku:

Give me free tickets
To the Fall Out Boy Concert
And I will kiss you

Yeah baby, she knows what's up. I taught her well. I was at work listening to the radio and actually heard her call in and win and you could actually hear Corey's cheeks turning red after hearing her poem. Who wouldn't want to kiss this face?

So big thanks to the baby sis for sluttin it up on the radio, I knew you had it in you!

My Dad Can Kick Your Dad's Butt!

Okay, so I've decided who to give the extra Fall Out Boy ticket too. Thank you for all your suggestions and votes! Since both of my sisters have come to me telling me to give the ticket to the other one I've decided to just give them both a ticket!

Annie, I love you and don't want you to feel like a poopsicle so I will make it up to you!

Lindee and Alyse, yay you're both coming! Now we all get to go together and annoy the hell out of Andrea! Andrea, if you drank, your first drink would be on me! How bout a chocolate milkshake or some RIBS! (Inside joke, sorry everyone who is not Andrea, you won't get that one.)

Now, my dad. If you don't know this already, my dad is the cutest guy in the world.

He takes me to lunch every Friday and no matter how hard I try to pay, he always picks up he tab. He is notorious for doing that! And don't even try to give him money, if you try to sneek it into his pocket, you'll find it right back in your purse.

So this weekend dad took his girls skiing at Powder Mountain. It was so dang fun! We all grew up skiing together and my dad was the one who taught me how to ski when I was about six. He just learned how to snow board a couple weeks ago so this was only his third time.

He is just so cute when he snowboards! Lin, Lyse and I kept saying we wish we had a camera to take a picture of him snowboarding, he looks like a 20 year old out there on the snow.

Lindee and I give Dad a hard time because he never reads our blogs because 1) He is never home, and 2) His internet is restricted at work. But guess what? He figured out how to leave a comment last night! This is the comment he left on my last post:

Let me know how much the ticket is, give the free one to Lin or Leeser and I'll pay for the other one. Problem solved!

Thanks Dad, but you just paid for all four of us to go skiing and there is no way I'm letting you buy the other ticket to FOB, but you are so sweet for offering!

So thanks Dad for such a fun weekend and for such a yummy chocolate lava cake sundae!

Your girls love you!

It Pays to Procrastinate

That was the lesson I learned yesterday while I was sitting at my desk at work, listening to my favorite radio station X96.

Let me back up.

Alyse, Andrea, and I will be going to the Fall Out Boy concert in April and I was supposed to buy the tickets a long long time ago but I just haven't gotten around to it. American Idol has just monopolized my time, well, that and all the other shows sitting on my DVR waiting to be watched. Life is so hard.

So back to yesterday, I heard on the radio that they were giving away tickets if you could unscramble the words in the title of a song. They've been doing this awhile now and I had no intention of ever playing because you just can't get through by telephone. But yesterday I just went for it.

I dialed and it was busy. Redialed....busy. Redialed...busy. Redialed..."Hello X96?"

At that point I freaked out and yelled "20 Dollar Nose Bleed!"

I was so loud that I'm sure I woke up my sleeping nephew 40 minutes away! Lo and behold I won! I was so excited but after my little screaming about nose bleeds, people were beginning to peak into my office to see if I was being raped, so I tried to calm myself down and started whispering instead. The radio guy probably thought I was a freak!

I won tickets to the Fall Out Boy concert! Woot! Woot! It's a good thing I'm a procrastinator and didn't buy the tickets a few weeks ago like I had planned! After I hung up with the guy I heard myself on the radio and about died, I sounded like a blubbering idiot!

So now I have a problem. I won two tickets but there are three of us going. To whom do I give the other ticket? Here are my options...

1. Give it to my baby sis Alyse who is a single starving college student but doesn't have a family to feed. Wait, scratch the starving part, she still lives at home, but she needs her big sister's help to get back out into the dating world after having one boyfriend for years. She needs to go out and have a good time, but she was planning to pay for the ticket herself anyway.

2. OR Give it to my fabulous friend Andrea, who after all beautified my hair this week with her genius coloring ability and I think I totally under tipped her! Plus she works 2 jobs, but she too was planning on paying for the ticket herself. (Yes I totally stole this pic from her blog)

3. OR give it to my little sis Lindee, who I had already invited but she couldn't go because she needed to save her money to buy her school books. She has admitted she's not a huge fan of Fall Out Boy but has expressed her jealousy that Alyse and I are going without her.

Decisions, decisions. If you know me, I cannot decide by myself so I need your help!

Who should I give the extra ticket to?

UPDATE: Lindee has now written her plea on her blog of why she deserves the free ticket.

UPDATE #2: Alyse (the baby sis) has now written her plea in the comments as Anonymous. By the length of her comment I think it's time she gets her own blog don't you?
