Ouch! I have an easy way of avoiding all iron mishaps. I just don't iron, I believe in the shabby chic element to my clothes. That & I'm terrified of my iron attacking me. Thankfully my husband is more skilled at the iron, so I have a backup plan if I need.
Me and irons... do not get along. No matter how careful I think I am being, I ALWAYS burn myself somewhere from it. It just isn't fair is it?! The scars last for so long!! Be sure to use neosporin on it!!
See! THIS is the reason I REFUSE to iron. I have NOooooo problems bringing Greg's work shirts to the dry cleaners. I will empty out the piggy bank and look between the sofa cushions and FIND the finances to go to the cleaners before I pick up an iron. Lol.
Maybe you should tell Al that he needs to invest in a house keeper that no only cleans but irons..it might be cheaper than your plastic surgery bills Ü
Just looking at those pictures makes my arm burn. Sympathy pains!
I've been on the wrong end of all my irons more times than I'd like to admit, so really...I feel your pain.
My trusty fix-it is Mederma. After the burn heals (you know...oozes, scab and peels...all that good stuff), keep slathering on Mederma and it fades the scar. Me, being all pale and stuff...I just can't afford to look all scarred up.
Oh, and your license to iron has been revoked...by me. You're welcome.
How did you manage to do that??? Johnson & Johnson makes a burn ointment that is really incredible and helps with the pain and healing. I think you better go out and buy a CASE of it hun!
Reminds me of back in the day when we all used to have big, floofy, curly bangs and how many hundreds of times I burned my forehead with the curling iron! Maybe it's those scary flashbacks that prevent me from ironing now...
When I saw the picture of your arm, it made me think of something I did years ago. I wasn't familiar with electric stoves and I placed my hand on one to see if it was still hot...and sure enough it was! I had rings of burned skin on my hand...DUH! And, I burn myself on my iron all the time!!!!
Make it a great day and come on over and visit my blog: momsnuggets.blogspot.com
Is there irony in the fact you posed the picture on the stove?
Hope it heals quick! I did my neck with the curling iron and looked like a hicky girl. Then I grabbed it yesterday with my left hand and burnt my thumb and forefinger. I have issues too.

Holy crap! I think you should stay away from hot objects.
There are lotions & creams to get rid of wrinkles... you dont actually need to IRON your skin to get them out! ;)
Maybe you should just embrace wrinkles....
Be the shar pei of the office

What's an iron?
Remind me not to get one...ever.
And make sure to keep your boobies away from yours as you finish those last two pants.

And this is why I do not iron and make my hubby go to work with wrinkly shirts.....
Geez woman!! I'd keep my boobs covered tonight!
You do know that your suppose to take your clothes off before you iron them right?
Oh poor Kelly. That really sucks. Only you! Love you.
Kind of ironic that you are ruining your skin to make your clothes look nice! haha!
Ouch! Pooba get a hold of that iron and tell it who's boss! Good luck and let us know how the show down goes.
Hope you are feeling better soon. Take care of yourself.
OUCH! That hurt!!! Be careful with hot or sharp objects.
Maybe its time you took up steaming your clothes...in the shower!
I'm disappointed that you didn't post a pic of your burnt boob.
Ok girl it's cheaper and safer for you to take them to the cleaners they can press them ... Oh girl!
And that is why I don't iron..
OUCH!!! That looks like it hurts!
Oh Oh Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! How the hell did you DO that? You idiot!

Ouchie! No more ironing!
Did I not tell you that ironing was hazardous to your health?
Ouch! And that is why I just don't iron. (well that plus the extreme laziness)
OUCH!!!!
